Terms of service

The service

Hookline automates comment replies and direct messages on Instagram accounts you own or manage. It is provided free of charge, as-is, without warranty of any kind. The software is open source under the MIT license.

Your responsibilities

• Only connect Instagram accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
• Your automations must comply with Meta's platform policies and community guidelines — no spam, no harassment, no deceptive content.
• You are responsible for the content of every reply and DM your automations send.
• If you use an access-code account, keeping the code safe is on you — it cannot be recovered.

Fair use

We may pause or remove automations that abuse the platform, hit Meta rate limits in ways that endanger the service, or violate these terms. We'll be reasonable; don't make us not be.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hookline and its creator are not liable for lost revenue, lost followers, account restrictions imposed by Meta, or any indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

These terms may evolve as the product does. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use means acceptance.
