Terms of service

Hookline automates public replies and direct messages for comments on Instagram accounts you own or manage, and lets AI apps you connect manage those automations for you. It's free. It's provided “as is”, without any warranty, and it may change, pause or stop at any time.

You must be at least 16, and old enough to use Instagram where you live. If you use Hookline for a business or a client, you confirm you're allowed to act for them.

• Keep your access code or password safe. Access-code accounts hold no personal details, so a lost code can't be recovered.
• You're responsible for everything done through your account, including by AI apps you connect.
• Only connect Instagram accounts you own or are authorized to manage.

Your automations and messages must follow Instagram's Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and Meta's Platform policies. Don't use Hookline to:

• send spam, scams, phishing, malware or misleading links;
• harass people, or send hateful, sexual or illegal content;
• message people who haven't commented on your posts, or get around Instagram's own limits;
• break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or access other people's data;
• resell Hookline or pretend to be someone else.

You're responsible for the content of every reply and DM your automations send.

Hookline depends on Meta's API. Meta can change it, limit it, or restrict accounts, and that can stop automations without warning. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or Instagram. Safety limits in Settings help, but they don't guarantee Instagram won't restrict an account.

Hookline is free. Donations are voluntary gifts that help keep it running. They don't buy features, priority or support, and they aren't refundable, except where the law says otherwise. If a payment was a mistake, email us and we'll sort it out.

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may pause automations or close accounts that break these terms, put the service at risk with Meta, or abuse it. When we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.

To the maximum extent the law allows, Hookline and its creator aren't liable for lost revenue, lost followers, missed messages, account restrictions by Meta, or any indirect damages from using the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy.

These terms may change as Hookline does. If a change matters, we'll announce it in the app before it takes effect. Using Hookline after that means you accept it. Questions: alvaacompany@gmail.com.
